Soil Treatment

Soil Injections

The chemicals used, for the soil injections are potassium salts and ammonium ions.  They have been in use since 1990 and have proven to be the single best way to stabilize soil without excavation.  The chemical reaction these products produce changes the composition of the clay into a non-crystalline structure that won’t retain water like the clay would have.  This chemical change is irreversible, making this a permanent solution.  The chemicals are safe, reliable and eco-friendly.

Cleared Lot

The lot has been cleared and the soil testing has been done.  Because the soil has a high clay content, the builder will do soil injections next to break up the clay and make it more suitable for building.
